PAST PERFECT

PAST PERFECT We use the past perfect simple ( had  + past participle) to talk about time up to a certain point in the past. We can use the past perfect to show the order of two past events. Sol  can  speak Germany,  can't  she? ---> Negative auxiliaries and verbs in tags are in contracted form EXCEPTIONS Some verbs / expressions have different question tags. For example: I am  - I am smart,  aren't  I? Let's  - Let's go to the cinema,  shall   we? Have got (possession)  - She has got a house,  hasn't  she?
